AAHA Con trivia, part deux #1: Who am I?

This audience-driven presentation will use an interactive polling system to move through a case together as a group. Your votes will decide how to move the patient’s case forward—majority wins! What does it take to be an impressive anesthetist, technician, or clinician? To have that sixth sense of reading between the lines? Honestly, it takes the power of observation and critical thinking. In the context of monitoring critical and/or anesthetized patients, it takes understanding of physiology and pharmacology, as well as the effect of co-morbidities and disease processes on anesthesia; it takes knowledge about the surgical procedure and impact on the patient. It's a little bit intuition and it takes showing attention to the smallest details to recognize the slightest shift in a trending monitoring parameter: This distinguishes the novice from the expert.
